Defective wall wart that was distorting the RDS on WPLP-LP radio and creating a hum in the audio chain.  Replacing this resolved the problem.

The Motorola XTS-5000 VHF radio on my desk at home showed this code.  After diagnosing, the RF deck's fuse had blown.  This is the message shown when the control head loses connection to the RF Deck.

 

I replaced the fuse, and it worked correctly.
