After six days at the UGA training veterinary hospital Mabel was discharged and allowed to return home.

The next month is going to be closely guarded with no exercise, lots of medications, and two daily feedings of wet food instead of the regular one daily dry food serving.

The back seat of my car before leaving UGA.  Her energy level was less than normal due to her healing, but she showed excitement upon being reacquainted with me.  She even crawled up to the front seat for a nap once I started driving.

The UGA veterinarians advised me to use my best judgement when reacquainting the two dogs so that there would be minimal physical stress.  Millie is the smart one, so she figured this out pretty quickly and so far there have not been any problems.

Mabel loves to lie under my desk.  She will even do this when I use the "Mabel Table" voice command.
