These photos of Mabel show her recovery at approximately 52 hours after the injuries sustained by my neighbor's dog(s). The worst injury is her neck, but I did not see that since it is bandaged up. There are more wounds to the face and groin.
Mabel has very little energy, although she did recognize me. We had a chance to sit in the sun for approximately 10 minutes.
The tube entering her nose is a feeding tube. Although she has started eating very limited wet food, this tube is projected to remain in for at least the next couple of days. The tube going from her bandage to the blue pouch sutured to her left side contains a drain for her neck wound. The tube connected to her right rear foot are for IV lines.
